About this file

This is a price sheet attachment for a Request for Proposal issued by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the Detroit Fire Department to procure comprehensive inspection, cleaning, sanitization, repair, maintenance, and tracking services for departmental protective clothing and ensembles. The scope of work requires vendors to provide advanced inspection, advanced cleaning, pickup and delivery services for bunker coats and bunker pants, as well as specialized repairs including patching, zipper replacement, hole repair, and stitching work. The price sheet identifies thirteen line items with estimated annual usage quantities ranging from 10 to 2,400 units, including 2,400 pickups and advanced cleaning/delivery events each for bunker coats and pants. The contractor must comply with current editions of applicable National Fire Protection Association standards, including NFPA 1850 and NFPA 1857, and must provide scheduled and as-needed pickup and delivery service on a consistent weekly basis, with the City's preference for Wednesday service at participating locations.

All pricing shall include equipment, labor, materials, pickup and delivery services, and information technology record-keeping and reporting necessary to complete the required services. The estimated annual usage quantities provided are subject to change, with the City reserving the right to purchase or rent more or less than the quantities indicated. Vendors must submit unit prices and any applicable discounts from list price for each line item, with extended prices calculated accordingly. The solicitation requires that vendors accept all terms without exception, as exceptions taken to any portion of the solicitation may jeopardize bid acceptance.
