About this file
This document is an Insurance Requirements Checklist prepared by the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) of Palm Beach County for a surplus lead acid batteries recycling sale, with the bid/agreement number 26-04 AL, dated August 16, 2025. The document outlines comprehensive insurance coverage requirements for vendors participating in this surplus battery sale, specifying detailed minimum coverage limits across multiple insurance categories including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella/Excess Liability, and Pollution Liability.
The insurance requirements mandate specific coverage limits, such as $1,000,000 per occurrence for Commercial General Liability, $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit for Automobile Liability, and $1,000,000 for Pollution Liability. Vendors must provide certificates of insurance that name the SWA of Palm Beach County as an Additional Insured, using specific ISO endorsement forms (CG2010 and CG2026). The document emphasizes that insurance requirements extend to the vendor's employees and subcontractors, and the SWA may request policy document copies. Special notes include eliminating silica products exclusion if cement/concrete materials are used and providing a current insurance certificate prior to accessing SWA property or commencing contract activities.
