About this file
This Statement of Work is an exhibit to Solicitation No. 2093591 issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas, Texas, and outlines the electrical scope of work for a power supply replacement project at 13 Traffic Signal Priority (TSP) intersection locations. The project involves three primary tasks: replacement of batteries in signal enclosures, replacement of power supply units in signal enclosures, and replacement of UPS units in signal enclosures. All work must be performed exclusively during scheduled overnight shifts to avoid disruption to DART's revenue service and daytime operations. The document specifies that contractors must attend a Pre-Bid Conference and site visit to assess site conditions, including access constraints and railroad right-of-way protocols. DART will provide flagging support and manage signal flash mode operations during power supply replacements, while temporary power via contractor-provided generators and lighting must be maintained during equipment cutover and installation.
Contractors are responsible for furnishing all tools, equipment, incidental supplies, and materials necessary for execution, with pricing based solely on customary cost elements including labor, materials, equipment usage, and standard industry markups—no mobilization or administrative fees are permitted unless expressly identified in the bid. Contractors must furnish and install all required supports, rails, brackets, mounting hardware, and associated materials for new power supply unit installations in compliance with applicable codes, DART specifications, and industry best practices. Deliverables include installation of all new power supply equipment, removal and proper disposal of replaced components as required by DART, confirmation and documentation of proper installation and functional readiness, and shift reports with final close-out documentation. All work must comply with DART safety requirements, railroad right-of-way rules, and local electrical codes, with any deviations, assumptions, or clarifications to be submitted in writing during the formal question-and-answer period.

For Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit
1. Project Overview The purpose of this project is to replace existing power supply systems associated with DART signal cabinets and related infrastructure. All activities will be performed during scheduled overnight work windows to avoid disruption to revenue service and daytime operations.
This Scope of Work defines contractor responsibilities, DART-provided resources, site access conditions, and performance expectations for all bidders.
2. Work Hours and Access
