About this file
This is a Good Faith Effort Letter Requirements document outlining specifications for submissions related to a Texas state and local contract opportunity for DART CBD TSP Cabinet Power, which involves replacing batteries in signal enclosures at 13 locations. The Good Faith Effort letter must be submitted on company letterhead and include the solicitation number and description, the name of any D/M/WBE subcontractor as indicated on Attachment 1 to Exhibit G—Intent to Perform, and the dollar amount or percentage of commitment associated with that subcontractor. The letter must contain a detailed and specific explanation of why the diversity goal cannot be met, along with the printed name and title of the authorized signatory, and must be signed by that authorized individual.
The requirements address situations where a prime contractor meets part of the diversity goal but not the entire goal, necessitating documentation of both the subcontractor name and commitment amount. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or funding information is detailed in this requirements document, as it focuses exclusively on the procedural and formatting standards for Good Faith Effort letters in the context of diversity and minority/women-owned business enterprise compliance.
