About this file

This is a Market Research Survey for the United States Air Force (USAF) seeking potential sources to refurbish seven B20128 Make-up Air Handlers. The requirement involves removing existing fans, filter racks, and hot water coils while maintaining the metal housing, and implementing a Fan Array System with 55,000 CFM capacity at 4.75 Total Static Pressure. The survey seeks contractors with expertise in repairing industrial air handlers, generating technical data, and creating systems with alarming, trending, and monitoring capabilities for Building Automation Systems.

Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey are due by close of business on August 14, 2025, and must be submitted via email to MSgt Anthony Jacobs and Lisa Matney. The survey covers detailed questions about company capabilities in general qualifications, repair processes, commerciality, manufacturing, and engineering services. While no set-aside has been determined, small businesses are encouraged to participate, and joint ventures or teaming arrangements are welcome. The acquisition strategy is for a one-time contract, with the government seeking comprehensive information about potential contractors' technical and operational capabilities.
