About this file

This is a Notice of Intent filed by IMAGINE OPTICS regarding a pre-solicitation for the Transscleral Flood Illumination (TFI) add-on module for the rtx1 Adaptive Optics Retinal Camera. The National Institutes of Health Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations, under the Department of Health and Human Services, is the contracting agency for this opportunity (Solicitation Number: 75N98026Q01026IMAGINEOPTICPCANEW08531).

The TFI add-on module is designed to extend the imaging capabilities of the rtx1 Adaptive Optics Camera by enabling visualization of small retinal structures that are typically invisible in standard adaptive optics images. The technology allows for investigation of retinal anatomy, pathology, and therapy at the microscopic scale beyond photoreceptors. This capability is intended to support clinical trials and demonstrate the ability to monitor the progression of various ocular diseases at the cellular level before significant damage occurs. The Notice of Intent indicates the government's intent to solicit offers for this specialized ophthalmic imaging technology advancement.
