About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation #75H71525R00007 issued by the Indian Health Service for the Monacan Health Center, seeking Non-Personal Health Care Family Nurse Practitioner Services. The Q&A addresses three key points: (1) immunization documentation requirements, (2) work schedule options, and (3) available support staff.
Regarding work scheduling, providers have two options: either 5 days per week at 6 hours per day, or 4 days per week with 8 hours on 3 days and 6 hours on another day, with the schedule remaining consistent week-to-week. For immunization records, vendors only need to provide a statement confirming health requirements during the initial proposal submission, with full documentation required after contract award. The facility will have support staff including an Area Chief Medical Officer, nurses, health technicians, pharmacist, pharmacy tech, dental assistant, and behavioral health specialist to support the nurse practitioner services.

Solicitation #75H71525R00007 Indian Health Service, Monacan Health Center Non-Personal Health Care Family Nurse Practitioner Services
Questions and Answers
Q1. In the Request for Proposal under Submission Information section 4, it mentions vaccines/immunizations. Is this documentation required for the provider packets during the initial proposal submission? If so, what immunization records are required?
A1. A statement from the vendor confirming that the Health Requirements have been met will suffice during the proposal submission stage. Actual documentation showing the Health Requirements have been met will be required to be submitted after contract award.
Q2. The work schedule shows approximately 30 hours per week, but the facility is open M-F
8a-4:30p. Will the providers be working 5 days a week at less than 8 hours a day, or is a 4-day work week available?
A2. The only allowable options are 5 days a week at 6 hours per day OR 4 days a week with 8 hours on 3 of those days and 6 hours on the other day. If the 4 days a week option is chosen, the schedule must stay consistent. So whichever day is chosen for the 6-hour shift and the off day should remain the same from week to week.
Q3. What support staff is available?
A3. Support staff available include the following: Area Chief Medical Officer, Nurses, Health
Technicians, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant, and Behavioral Health Specialist.
