About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 00001) to a solicitation for the Alaska Area Indian Health Service, focusing on clarifying cable and speaker quantities for a procurement. The amendment provides detailed answers to questions about specific part numbers, including General Cable Cat 6, Belden Cat 6A, Belden Plenum Audio Cable, and in-ceiling speakers. Key clarifications include:

For cable items, the quantities specified are in feet, not full spools, and contractors should charge only for the estimated cable used. For example, the RFQ calls for 50 feet of Belden Cat 6A cable and 100-200 feet of General Cable Cat 6. For speakers (part number C-IC6), the quantity of 6 lines means 3 pairs, totaling 6 speakers. A cable budget breakdown is provided, showing cable requirements for an AD Office and Conference Room, with total cable lengths specified for different cable types and locations.
