About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation No. 75H70626Q00060, issued by the Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (Federal Building, 115 Fourth Ave, SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401) on October 14, 2026, with an effective date of October 29, 2026. The amendment modifies the solicitation for snow removal and de-icing services at the Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service facility. The period of performance is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027. The amendment extends the quotation closing date from October 26, 2026, to November 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Central Time.

The amendment provides clarifications through Questions and Answers addressing service continuity during facility closures, suspension and resumption of work during travel restrictions, payment procedures for unexpected snow events, and the scope of work tasks. Key clarifications include: services must continue during facility closures when travel is permitted; the 7:00 a.m. completion requirement is waived only during travel restrictions; any services exceeding the existing award require Contracting Officer approval via modification; contractors are paid only for services rendered from actual snowfall removal; and the solicitation contains two primary tasks (sidewalk clearing with de-icing and snow hauling), with the SF-1449 pricing form providing detailed cost tracking breakdowns. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
