Amendment A00002 dated 07/01/2024
1. Drawings Drawing sheet A4.1- Where are new flooring transitions expected? COR Transitions between different types of flooring will be at the centerline of the door.
2. RFP Phase 1- Does the temporary pharmacy receive any flooring? COR Existing flooring will be used.
3. Drawings Drawing E4.1 What is the new security system spec’d to be? COR
The contractor is not installing any new security system.
From a video and door security standpoint, all that is to be included in this contract is for the contractor to install the data cables for the ceiling mounted video cameras per plan note 5 on sheet E4.1 and detail 2, sheet E7.1. All doors that will have card readers will have the contractor do the door access control rough-ins per detail 3 on sheet E7.1. They will install the conduit accordingly and install the main. The actual installation of the video cameras and door card readers will be handled under a separate contract with the IHS HSPD-12 IDIQ contractor.
4. RFP Exterior- Please provide specs for existing siding and roofing manufacturers. COR
For the siding, refer to the infill window note on sheet A2.1.
The contractor is to match the existing wall construction and use a full sheet of T1-11 siding for the window infill. The roof manufacturer is unknown but the roof is a standing seam metal roof.
5. Drawings Demo A1.2- Will any ACT demo extend into the corridor? COR Some corridor walls are being demo’d and the corridor widths will be narrowed up approximately 1 foot. There will be some ACT demo/patching required as noted on drawing A3.1.
6. RFP Demo- Has the facility been tested for Asbestos and/or lead? COR Hazardous material removal projects have been completed at the facility.
