About this file

This is a site plans document for the Building Exterior Repair Project at the FDA Pacific Southwest Laboratory in Irvine, California. The document provides visual representations and technical drawings of the facility's exterior layout, identifying the specific areas requiring repair and maintenance work. The site plans illustrate the locations of structural steel components including exterior stairs, sunshades, roof access stairs, entrance canopies, and the chemical storage shed that will require surface preparation and corrosion-resistant coating applications. The plans also depict areas designated for interior and exterior non-structural concrete crack repairs and resilient flooring replacement. These drawings serve as reference materials for contractors preparing proposals and conducting the mandatory site visit scheduled for July 1, 2026, at 8:30 AM Pacific Time at the facility located at 19701 Fairchild Road, Irvine, California 92612. The site plans are essential technical documentation supporting the solicitation 75F40126R00047, a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation for a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract with a 180-calendar-day completion timeline and one-year workmanship warranty requirement.
