About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to a media monitoring license contract opportunity. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Injury Center intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to News Exposure, LLC for media monitoring software and related services. The purpose is to help the Injury Center monitor coverage of priority topics to improve focus on messages and dissemination of the Center's work.

The questions cover details about the current deliverables, format, frequency, content, and number of news stories expected in the custom newsletters/reports that are currently provided. The government clarifies that this is not a sole source contract, and they do not have daily news alerts currently, only bi-weekly custom reports. The anticipated minimum or maximum number of news stories per report is not specified, as it is dependent on the news cycle. Interested parties may submit responses to the government within 7 days of the pre-solicitation notice to be considered.

75D30124Q77517- Media Monitoring – Questions and Answers

1. Can the government provide us with an example of what this deliverable looks like? Cision is currently providing Daily Briefing services to HHS, FDA, NCI, CMS, NIH, and HHS OIG and can happily provide NCIPC the same service on a bi-weekly basis. However, my team would like to assess the current format of the deliverable that’s services your office to better understand the needs and requirements. In regard to what the deliverables we’re currently providing to the OCs I mentioned previously please see the attached example we produced for CMS on Friday, March 29, 2024.
