Availability Management Scope Statement
To best manage and operate the Application Hosting Branch in alignment with the needs of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Unisys manages its IT services based on the processes defined in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework. This document defines the scope of one of the key components of IT Service Management, Availability Management, for the Application Hosting Branch.
As defined for Application Hosting Branch (AHB), Availability Management is the process responsible for ensuring that the AHB-hosted infrastructure and the associated IT services perform their agreed upon functions when required in order to meet target service levels. Availability Management is implemented by defining, analyzing, planning, measuring, and improving the availability of infrastructure and IT services. Availability is determined by reliability, maintainability, serviceability, performance, and security and is measured as a percentage based on service time and downtime.

Continuity Management Scope Statement
To best manage and operate the Application Hosting Branch in alignment with the needs of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Unisys manages its IT services based on the processes defined in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 framework. This document defines the scope of one of the key components of IT Service Management, Continuity Management, for the Application Hosting Branch.
As defined for Application Hosting Branch (AHB), Continuity Management is the process responsible for managing risks that could severely impact IT services, reducing the impact of known risks to an acceptable level, and planning for the recovery of IT services. The primary objective of Continuity Management is to ensure that AHB can always meet its target service levels in order to support Business Continuity Management.
