About this file
The document is a set of architectural and engineering renovation drawings for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), specifically for the Cusino Sara/Shingleton Wildlife Office Bunk House Renovations located at E 12340 Highway M-28 West in Shingleton, Michigan. The project involves comprehensive renovations to a bunk house, including kitchen remodeling, bathroom updates, electrical and mechanical system improvements, and various structural modifications. Key renovation elements include relocating cabinets, installing new appliances (refrigerator and electric range to be purchased by DNR), replacing countertops, adding a new pantry unit, updating lighting, installing new ceramic tile flooring, repairing plaster, painting walls and ceilings, and adding safety features like smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
The drawings, prepared by Sanders & Czapski Associates, LLC, provide detailed plans for a complete interior renovation, with specific focus on second-floor spaces including kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The project involves mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, with detailed specifications for equipment replacement, fixture installations, and structural modifications. The file includes comprehensive technical drawings with elevation details, mechanical plans, electrical layouts, and plumbing specifications. The project appears to be funded by the DNR and involves modernizing and improving the functionality of the existing bunk house facility, with an emphasis on updating infrastructure, improving living conditions, and potentially enhancing energy efficiency and safety standards.
