About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for USAID Solicitation 72060325Q00002, which pertains to Quality Assurance and Construction Oversight services in Djibouti.

The Q&A clarifies that this is a new requirement with no previous contract. It specifies that one field engineer is required to provide on-site quality assurance and construction oversight services across 16 schools in 5 lots, with an estimated 1,040 hours of work. The document confirms that a separate driver is not required for the field engineer, leaving transportation arrangements to the discretion of the contracting firm. While site visits are permitted, they are not mandatory, and USAID will not facilitate access or arrangements for visiting the school sites.

Q2. In the RFQ document, we see that a field engineer is required for 1040 hours for 16 schools across 5 lots. Answer: No, a separate driver is not required, this is at the discretion of the firm.

Q4: Please can we make a site visit for this project ?

Answer: This is not a requirement. Firms are permitted to do a field visit at their discretion, USAID will not facilitate access or make arrangements to visit the sites.
