Amendment 0001

Question 1: Where should the second drain in the driveway be located?

Answer 1: The second drain is to be field located in accordance with page C02 of the drawings. The details of the final location are to be coordinated and reviewed during the submittal process.

Question 2: How do you want us to do the epoxy sealing?

Answer 2: The drawings and specifications do not specify how, they only require that it be done. The method will be reviewed and approved during the submittal process.

Question 3: What is the depth of the existing drain that they need to tie into that comes from the crawl space?

Answer 3: Approximately 2 to 3 feet below the surface and 3 feet from the crawl space door.

Question 4: Can the dirt be scattered that will be excavated from the crawl space when installing the interceptor/French drain and leveling out the low spots in lieu of taking it out and disposing of it?

Answer 4: Yes, this is acceptable.

Question 5: The specifications for the catch basin and PVC pipe could not be found. The only reference was on plan sheet C02 that was part of a note pertaining to the catch basin. It calls out “the Storm Drain shall be per CBJ Standards Type17”. A reference for the Type 17 in the current CBJ Standards could not be found. Have these been omitted?

Answer: Disregard the Type 17 reference. Updated specifications/measurements for the catch basin are being provided as an attachment to this amendment. Specifications for the PVC pipe are also being provided as a separate attachment.
