About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (SF Form 30) issued by the United States Coast Guard Contract & Procurement Branch 2, dated August 14, 2026. The amendment number is A0001 and modifies contract number 70Z08526QIBCT0061 in response to questions submitted regarding USCG MAPLE Dockside Repairs.

The amendment addresses four key questions and answers. First, regarding crane access, the USCG clarified that a telehandler with a 15,000 LBS rated weight cannot be used on the pier due to an active pier repair project with a 20,000-pound load limit and ongoing structural repairs that will not be certified until October 25, 2026. The USCG provided a photograph of a barge crane used for previous similar work as an alternative. Second, the USCG confirmed that manuals for the Welin Lambie Dual Point Davit Model TWPIV 5.0B are available upon award. Third, regarding hydraulic oil supply for work items #2 and #3, the USCG clarified that the Coast Guard is not supplying hydraulic oil and the contractor must supply and renew it in accordance with SFLC Std Spec 5000, Appendix C, Paragraph C2.1, with all tanks to use Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46, except the Thruster System which uses Mobil DTE 10 Excel 68. Fourth, the amendment references Attachment #6 Pier Restriction Report showing the maximum 20,000-pound load limit. The amendment requires acknowledgment of receipt but does not require contractor signature.
