About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.

The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work performed in New York counties including Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, and Westchester (Wage Determination No. 2015-4187, Revision 35, effective 3/30/2026). The wage determination lists over 300 occupation codes and classifications across multiple occupational categories, including Administrative Support and Clerical, Automotive Service, Food Preparation and Service, Furniture Maintenance and Repair, General Services and Support, Health Occupations, Information and Arts, Information Technology, Instructional Occupations, Laundry and Dry-Cleaning, Machine Tool Operation and Repair, Materials Handling and Packing, Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair, Personal Needs, Plant and System Operations, Protective Service, Recreation, Stevedoring/Longshoremen, Technical Occupations, and Transportation/Mobile Equipment Operation. Hourly wage rates range from $16.41 to $61.13 depending on the occupation and level. All occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (or $5.09 for EO 13706 covered contracts) for health and welfare, plus two weeks paid vacation after one year of service and a minimum of twelve paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers (footnote 2) regarding compensation thresholds and exemptions. Hazardous pay differentials of 8 percent or 4 percent apply to designated ordnance and explosives work. Uniform allowances are permitted at $3.35 per week for cleaning and maintenance where applicable. A conformance process for unlisted classifications is established requiring contractor proposals, Wage and Hour Division approval, and retroactive payment to employees from their first day of work in the classification.
