About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for the USCGC BERTHOLF Dockside Services (DS) federal contract opportunity. The document confirms two key details: (1) this is a brand-new requirement, not a recompete or incumbent contract, and (2) Work Item 4 for Stern Boat Launch and Recovery is a sole-source item where the selected Prime Contractor will coordinate with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to have a licensed technical representative perform onsite services. The solicitation (70Z08525RLREP0008) is for dockside repairs to the USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL-750), with the ordering period running from the award date through 18 November 2025, and the first task order's performance period from 26 August 2025 through 18 November 2025. The work will be performed at the cutter's home port in Alameda, California, under the Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard.
