USCGC AXE & BARGE DD FY21 RFQ NO: 70Z085-21-Q-P4556000

AMENDMENT NO. 06

The purpose of this Amendment No. 06 is as follows:

A) To answer RFQ clarification question 12.

12) REF: WI-86, Para 3.3.1, Flanking Rudder Foundation, Modification

Q: From the written word of para 3.2 and 3.3.1 , Ktr understands the work refers only to flanking rudder foundation and BHD 45 as the work area.

KTR just received the referenced dwg 75D-WAGL-2200-17 and amend 5 answer, and noticed in the answer a reference to material item no. 15 [100LF of 5 x ¼” flatbar] on dwg 75D-WAGL-2200-17.

Ktr does not believe material item no [15] relates to flanking rudder foundation and

BHD 45 scope.

Can the government provide a specifically detailed scope of work that clearly defines the intent of work item 86?

In lieu of above, question and recent receipt of dwg 75DWAGL2200-17 and subsequent review as well as waiting for a response to this question can an extension till Dec 8 for submittal be provided?

A: The original installation of the flanking rudder, overtime, has had adverse effects on existing hull structures. The 75D-WAGL-2200-17 drawing strengthens hull structures that were identified and/or observed to be vulnerable, to include areas in the

Lazarette.

The solicitation closing date will change FROM: 04 December 2020 at 01:00PM PT

TO: 07 December 2020 at 01:00PM PT.

*** THE SOLICITATION CLOSE DATE IS HEREBY CHANGED DUE TO THIS

AMENDMENT. RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 07DEC2020

@ 01:00 PM PACIFIC TIME.
