About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal hotel berthing contract with the US Coast Guard. The contract is a re-competition of an incumbent contract (70Z08425PDL940049) with an official start date of July 1, 2026, and first berthing date of July 10, 2026. Contractors may submit multiple hotel properties and custom pricing sheets in addition to the required SF1449 form. Hotels must be minimum 3-star class with a Google rating of 4.2 or higher at the time of contracting officer review. Per the Statement of Work, hotels must not conduct renovations during the period of stay, maintain a clean furnished appearance, and cannot collect or hold members' personal credit or debit cards on file for incidentals; instead, cards should be collected at check-out if charges are incurred. The Government will provide a tax-exempt form (US Coast Guard Tax Exempt B239641) exempting the contract from federal, Florida hospitality, and local taxes.
Pricing may be broken down to show total annual cost, with "Unit Price" equaling one and "Extended Price" representing the total contract value. Contractors have flexibility in submitting pricing structures to demonstrate their annual cost breakdown. The document confirms that tax-exempt documentation will be provided by the Government to facilitate tax-free billing.
