About this file

This document is an Amendment 1 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 70Z08426QAA850100 for Full Food Services at USCG Sector Corpus Christi, TX, containing a comprehensive set of industry questions and government responses. The solicitation is for a new food service requirement with no incumbent contractor, serving 311 active-duty personnel with an estimated 20 members on overnight duty. The government will provide office space, a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, and some kitchen equipment, while the contractor is responsible for purchasing minor equipment, kitchen tools, china, silverware, and all necessary supplies.

Key operational details include a maximum dining facility seating capacity of 60, potential for 60 additional members in the next 3 years, and a fully staffed year-round operation with slight staffing reductions during late December and early January. The contract requires the contractor to maintain seven days of food and supplies during hurricane season, using the government's emergency organizational chart of 81 personnel as a basis. Invoicing will be on a net amount basis, with meal sales deducted monthly from the contract payment. Strict operational guidelines are in place, including prohibitions on outside catering, food trucks, contractor branding, and taking over the mini-mart, with all work to be performed strictly in accordance with the statement of work.
