About this file

This document is a Solicitation Questions and Answers file for Sewage Maintenance and Pumping Services at United States Coast Guard Station Tybee, with Solicitation Number 70Z08425QAA754000 A00002. The interested party inquired about the specific gallon capacities of two sewage system components: a Bioclere 24/24-1600 Septic Tank and a Liberty Pumps LEH152M2-2 Sewage Lift Pump, both located at Location #1913.

The government response provided detailed specifications from the O&M manual, including a primary tank nominal capacity of 15,000 gallons (composed of a 10,000-gallon primary tank and a 5,000-gallon aeration/settling tank), with a daily influent/effluent rate of 6,600 gallons per day. Two attachments were referenced: A00002 Attachment 1 (PXL 20250911 170817136) and A00002 Attachment 2 (LEH150 Series Pump Specification), which presumably contain additional technical details about the equipment.

Solicitation No. 70Z08425QAA754000 A00002 Sewage Maintenance and Pumping Services at United States Coast Guard Station Tybee

Interested Party Questions and Government Responses

INTERESTED PARTY QUESTION:

We are seeking clarification regarding the gallon capacities of the two units listed under Technical Exhibit 2:

1. Septic Tank – Bioclere 24/24-1600 (Equip #4200024, Location #1913)

2. Sewage Lift Pump – Liberty Pumps LEH152M2-2 (Equip #4200016, Location #1913)

Based on manufacturer references, we understand that the Bioclere model supports approximately 1,600 GPD, and that the lift station wet well may range between 300–500 gallons depending on configuration. However, for the purposes of preparing an accurate and responsible quote, we would greatly appreciate if you could confirm the actual installed capacities (in gallons) of both the septic tank and the wet well at this site.

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:

As per the O&M manual materials, the specs are the following:

Primary tank nominal capacity: 15,000 gal (10,000 gal primary tank + 5,000 gal aeration/settling tank) Daily Influent/EƯluent: 6,600/ per day each Lift pumps: LEH152M2-2 (spec manual attached)
