14. DESCRIPTION OF AMENDMENT/MODIFICATION (Organized by UCF section headings, including solicitation/contract subject matter where feasible.)
The subject solicitation is hereby amended as follows:
A. The purpose of this amendment is to answer a bidder’s question (See continuation page).
B. The Offer Due Date and Time has been extended from November 07, 2017, 3:00pm Eastern to November 14, 2017, 3:00pm Eastern.
C. Per 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, (3) Solicitation Amendments. Offerors shall acknowledge all Solicitation Amendments. Offerors shall complete Blocks 8 and 15(a-c) on all Solicitation Amendments (SF-30) issued by the Government and submit with their offer.
Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the document referenced in Item 9A or 10A, as heretofore changed, remains unchanged and in full force and effect.

1. Question and Answer
Solicitation Page: 11 Section 2.1.9 Contractor Question: Section 2.1.9 states, “The Government shall require that the ballistic panels meet the NIJ Standard-0101.06 Perforation and Backface Signature (P-BFS) Test for the following rounds and velocities listed in Table (2). Test sample sizes for each round shall be in accordance with section 4.1.1.1, Table (1) of the NIJ 0101.06 Standard (to exclude Ballistic Limit Testing). Vendors shall provide test results for these rounds for all packages submitted for evaluation.”

The NIJ 0101.06 standard requires (8) panels per threat for new condition Perforation and Backface Signature testing. This would be (4) C1 panels and (4) C5 panels per threat.
