The trench repair shown for the fuel truck apron accessm and utility trench repair measure to be larger than 60 square feet. Will the government confirm that the contractor is to repair a maximum of 60 square feet of concrete in these locations? Or will the government confirm that the contrtactor is to replace to the limits shown on the drawings?

Answer: To repair 60 SF (3 by 20 feet) or 75 SF (3 by 25 feet) IS NOT insignificant in labor and material cost. Labor will take 8 hours to do either and matierial cost is the difference of 1 yard of concrete. The concrete used will be less than the minimum charge of delivery. Hence the total number of concrete delivery will essentially be the same.

Will the government clarify if the contractor is to install #3 rebar at 18" O.C. within the new concrete? Or is the contractor to install WWM?

Answer: Change note 4 from: Place 7” concrete with a broom finish. Reinforce adjacent concrete with #3 rebar at 18” on center with dowels placed into adjacent concrete on 18” intervals

TO: Place 7” concrete with a broom finish. Tie existing adjacent concrete with #3 rebar at 18” on center with dowels placed into adjacent concrete on 18” intervals

Question: Sheet C403 note 4 states to install 7" concrete. Sheet Keynote 6 states to follow typical vehicle concrete detail D5 sheet C501. Sheet 501 Detail C501 states to place 6" concrete pavement. Will the government confirm which thickness is to be installed?
