About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 70Z08026QMECP0031 regarding the USCGC Harriet Lane FY27 AA contract. The document does not address specific products or services required but rather clarifies operational conditions for contract performance.
The single question posed by KTR addresses pier power availability and specifications for powering contractor tools and equipment at Pearl Harbor. The government response clarifies that the USCGC Harriet Lane does not have a permanent berth assignment and is typically assigned a berth approximately one week before mooring. Consequently, specific pier power details remain unknown until berth assignment occurs. The government confirms that power provision is the contractor's responsibility as a Naval facility requirement. Shore power may be available at most piers for an additional cost, while some piers require contractors to provide their own generators. The response does not specify available hookup types, amperage ratings, or connection standards in response to the contractor's inquiry about Viking, Russell-Stolles, or other power connection options.

USCGC HARRIET LANE FY27 AA
Questions to Solicitation 70Z08026QMECP0031
1. Question #: RSC JA1
KTR requests to know what pier power will be available if any during this contract and how far it will be located from the vessel to power KTR tools and equipment?
What hook-ups and AMP’s will be available? Ex. Viking, Russell-stolles, other.
ANSWER: Harriet Lane does not have a permanent berth assignment on Pearl Harbor. They are usually assigned a berth about a week prior to mooring. Because of this, the pier power situation is unknown until a berth is assigned. What we do know is that since this is a Naval facility, power is the contractor’s responsibility. Most piers will have shore power available at an additional cost, some piers require a generator.
