7/1/2024 1 Do you have contact info for the sole source providers? The J&A documents posted with the RFP list the company name and address for the brand-name courses, but we do not have a POC at each company.
7/1/2024 2 I noticed that there is a list of "Justification and Approval" documents with specific vendors included in the Sam.gov opportunity.
Is the USCG accepting RFP responses from businesses not on that list?
The J&A documents simply specify the brand name trainings required, not who can respond to the RFP. If your business is interested, we would encourage you to respond with your most competitive proposal.
7/2/2024 3 (a) The justification for each course is that to be given to the respective vendor providing the training?
(b) Is the USCG accepting RFP responses from businesses not on that list?
(a) No, there is no need to provide the justification to each training provider. (b) Please see the answer to question 2
7/2/2024 4 Is this a new contract or was there an incumbent performing these services. If the requirement is not brand new, could you please provide the current/previous contract number and contract value?
This is a new requirement.
7/6/2024 5 How important is it that the training comes from one entity? It is not important that the training comes from one entity, unless otherwise specified. The J&A documents posted with the RFP list the brand names of trainings that must be used. However, for other training we expect that vendors will propose based on market conditions.
7/6/2024 6 (a) How important is it to have virtual training compared to in-person training? (b) Do you have a rough number of individuals that would need training for the listed courses?
(a) The RFP contains the details regarding the number of trainings required for the first task order as well as if they should be in-person vs virtual training and the proposal should adhere to these requirements
(b) The Pricing Sheet attachment for "Task Order 1" also specifies this information.
