SUMMARY OF CHANGES
1. The Task Order Announcement is amended to include the attached completed sign-in sheet from the site visit that took place on June 03, 2020.
2. The Pre-Proposal Inquiries and Responses are listed below:
PPI 009
DWG C1-Note 5-Pg 3/26: Sanitary Sewer POC: Is the intent to connect the new sewer service to the existing SSCO (installed with the FRC MAT building)? Or does the new sewer service need to connect to the existing manhole?
Answer: Yes, the intended POC for the sewer is at the location of the indicated cleanout whether or not the cleanout currently exists. Keynote 6 points to the approximate location of the sewer per the FRC RFP plans, and the adjacent line showing the cleanout references the approximate location shown on the FRC as-built plans. Connection to the manhole is not specifically required. Contractor shall determine appropriate connection point. Refer also to Section 01800 - 1.4.8.
PPI 010
DWG C1- Pg3/26: Sanitary Sewer: The existing 6-inch sewer line is laid relatively flat (under 1.0%), has the capacity of the existing line been checked for the additional sewer flows? Will the downstream piping need to be upgraded to accommodate the additional sewer flows?
Answer: For bidding purposes, the contractor shall assume the downstream pipe will accommodate the additional sewer flows from the OPC MWD Facility. Post award, the contractor shall verify sewer flows, and the downstream pipe capacity, and report the information to the COR.
For information, refer to Study Sewer System and Recalculate Plant Replacement Value (PRV) at USCG Base Los Angeles / Long Beach San Pedro, CA, HSCG88-15-J-PQQ105 dated August 19, 2016 attached to this Addendum. Note that this sewer study was conducted prior to the FRC Homeport LA/LB Project. FRC Homeport LA/LB as-built documentation was provided in Amendment 01.
