This document summarizes a solicitation for logistics support services. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide inventory management specialists, equipment specialists, and quality assurance support. The solicitation includes a schedule of supplies and services with pricing, a performance work statement outlining requirements, and questionnaires for past performance information. The Coast Guard Command, Control, and Communications Engineering Center will be the place of performance, with two key personnel required to work onsite and up to nine additional personnel who may work onsite or remotely with approval. RFP Questions and Responses 70Z04420R20002900 Amendment A0004
Question
Questions/Comment Response to Question
23 Question based on the Q&A it is stated that “An amendment to the PWS is forth coming: PWS
Attachment (2) 3.3 Key Personnel ..."Contractor shall provide one Key Personnel per each of the two tasks (IMS and ES/QA). The two key persons shall be seated onsite at C3CEN."... 4.3 Place of
Performance: ..."The government has 11 seats available onsite at C3CEN. Both Key Personnel shall be located onsite at C3CEN, leaving 9 other seats available for other personnel."...” the RFP is stating the total amount of FTEs are 19. My question is do the remining people have to be at a contractors facility or can they work remotely from home.
Per PWS Section 4.3, “Teleworking may be permitted on a case by case basis and only with prior written authorization from the COR.” The government is fine with either contractor site or teleworking for the offsite personnel, but teleworking must be pre-approved by the COR for each person (requires approved VDI access).
