USCG Air Station Savannah Emergency Generator Replacement Solicitation #70Z03625Q0069-0002
Questions and Answers
Published: September 8, 2025
Question 1: Since we will need to remove the side lattice wall in order to take the tank out, should we reinstall the lattice wall afterward, or is the plan to repurpose that space and have us remove and dispose of it?
Answer The 950 gallon tank does not need to be removed. There is a day tank inside the Generator Building and that is what is being removed and replaced.
Question 2: What is the site voltage for this project?
Answer: It is 220 volts.
Question 3: What is the required fuel tank size for the diesel generator?
Answer: The Statement of Work says a 25-to-30 gallon day tank is the required size.
Question 4: Can you clarify what is meant by “two 200-amp transfer switches with 42 circuit load center”? Does this refer to a residential-style ATS?
Answer: The Statement of Work has the transfer switches as a 200 and a 70 amp, not two 200 amp switches. There is no 42 circuit load center as that was in the previously Statement of Work on the original solicitation that was previously cancelled.
