Q1. What are the specifications of the cameras?
A.1 USCG Electronic Security Systems policy / requirements are outdated but are still referenced. Cameras shall meet and exceed specs of: Interior fixed cameras shall be Bosch LTC0485 series camera or approved equivalent. Exterior fixed cameras shall be Bosch LTC0495 series camera or approved equivalent. Though NOT required by this specific statement of work, the CCTV Technology Handbook, attached, can be used as a reference to determine components that meet/exceed the above mentioned camera spec.
A few recent examples of cameras used (not limited to): Pelco models with Luxriot monitoring software, Vivotech, & Axis.
Q.2 How many cameras are expected to be required now and approximately how many to cover 100% surveillance requirement of the facility?
A.2 There is no specific requirement for the number of cameras to achieve adequate coverage of the Station Bodega Bay facilities. This was left up to interpretation and vague by design. See attached map for referencing to establish potential camera placement to achieve appropriate coverage. Not all of the cameras need to be fixed. Well placed PTZ(s) can be considered to be used to pan and zoom for more scope of coverage.
Q.3 Are there any specific makes/models for cameras? Is there an USCG approved equipment list for these equipment?
A.3 See above - answered in Q1 Q.4 How many cameras do you want for this base?
A.4 See above - answered in Q2 Q.5 Is it possible to get some kind of map to see what each building is? One of the requirements is to be able to see the entrance of the Armory, but it is hard to plan for that when I don't know which building is which.
A.5 Please see Station BB site map attachment.
