About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from the United States Coast Guard addressing inquiries related to a C-130J missionization services contract opportunity.

The document clarifies that this is a follow-on requirement for continued C-130J missionization services rather than a new contract. The incumbent contractor is L3Harris under current contract number 70Z02322C93110001. Regarding the Minotaur Mission System Suite equipment listed in the draft Performance Work Statement, the USCG has confirmed that the Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Commercial-Furnished Equipment (CFE) components with specified part numbers are set and approved. The Coast Guard is not considering alternate sensors for the missionization configuration during this effort, despite a question regarding the potential use of alternative EO/IR sensors beyond the current WESCAM/L3Harris configuration used on USCBP fixed-wing aircraft.

Question United States Coast Guard Response

Is this a brand new contract? If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

This is a follow-on requirement for the continuation of C-130J missionization services. The incumbent contractor is L3Harris, and the current contract number is 70Z02322C93110001.

The draft PWS has a table at the end which lists out the GFE/CFE and part numbers for the Minotaur Mission System Suite. I was wondering if those items are set/approved, or if there is any chance for alternate sensors to be considered. WESCAM/L3Harris currently provides EO/IR sensors for all USCBP fixed wing aircraft.

The USCG is not considering alternate sensors for the missionization configuration during this effort.
