About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) Appendix A that outlines the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance requirements for a Solicitation (RFP 70Z02325RSALC0001) for PSC GENSET storage and maintenance services.

The SOW Appendix A details the OEM maintenance requirements for an ABB generator and Caterpillar engines. For the ABB generator, the requirements include turning the assembly, checking insulation resistance, testing anti-condensation electrical measurements, and measuring/checking the air gap - both upon arrival and annually. For the Caterpillar engines, the requirements include cleaning, inspecting, and conducting monthly, yearly, and 24-month maintenance activities.

The associated federal contract opportunity is a combined synopsis/solicitation (Solicitation Number: 70Z02325RSALC0001) issued by the Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard for PSC GENSET storage and maintenance services. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Crow Point Energy using the authority at FAR 6.302-1.
