Question Number Reference Question Response
Since the USCG has a wide-ranging mission portfolio, diverse stakeholders, complex requirements, and the need to field capabilities quickly and at lower costs, would a Panel of Experts be seen as a valuable tool for helping prioritize studies and issues that should be evaluated/addressed to inform decision making?
Not at this time and not anticipated as part of the scope or future needs.
Has CG-7 identified the studies that need to be conducted in the first year or two? Does CG-7 need contractor support in determining these studies?
Not at this time.
Does CG-7 have experience scaling or adapting requirements to meet resource constraints such as budget or workforce? Where in the requirements development process does CG-7 make decisions about relaxing requirements?
CG-7 makes the decision to adapt or tailor requirements to program needs early in the process, prior to the Task Order being developed.
The last solicitation had numerous LCATs that were not full-time. If you anticipate the USCG will again be prescriptive in this regard (as opposed to allowing contractors to determine the best labor mix for proposed solutions), can you provide any insight into the specific tasks where less than full-time LCATs are needed?
Not at this time. More information will come out once the solicitation is posted.
Are there any specific challenges you want the next contractor to resolve?
The Government will address this in the solicitation when it is posted.
