About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document dated January 10, 2025 related to an RFI for cable, internet, and phone services for U.S. Secret Service offices. The document addresses four questions regarding service requirements across multiple locations, revealing that Baltimore and Miami offices require 1G internet speed while Annapolis requires basic service. The BPA term will be 5 years with individual calls likely lasting 12 months. The Miami location requires 23 static IPs across three accounts.

The related RFI seeks services currently provided by Comcast (Baltimore/Miami) and AT&T (Houston), including business cable services (TV adapters, standard business video, WiFi Pro), internet services (1G internet, WiFi, static IP), and phone services (voice packages, mobility lines, caller ID). While the document provides some technical specifications, it notes that invoices are standard Comcast/AT&T bills and indicates this is for planning purposes only, not a formal solicitation.

1. Internet speed requirements per site? Baltimore – 1G; Annapolis – Basic, Miami – 1G

2. Desired term? The BPA will be for 5 years – individual calls terms will vary – most likely 12 months.

3. How many static IP’s per site? Miami – For 3 different accounts, there were a total of 23.

4. Can the latest phone and Internet invoice be provided to help allow us to quote apples to apples and make sure there isn't a contract in-place that would limit or ability to respond to the RFI. These are standard Comcast/AT&T invoices.
