About this file
The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) solicitation for Sample Traps (Metal Can Swabs), Solicitation Number 70T05025Q5903N002. The procurement involves purchasing 2,500 packs of QSB220 ETD Sample Traps (100 count containers) for Denver International Airport and 6,900 packs for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, with deliveries expected within 30-60 days after receipt of order (ARO). The solicitation is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334511, with a size standard of 1,350 employees.
The acquisition will be awarded using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process, with quotes due by August 5th, 2025 at noon Eastern Time. The estimated award date is August 15th, 2025. Partial shipments are authorized, and the Q&A confirms that while "metal can" is specified, plastic clamshell packaging is also acceptable. Quotes will be evaluated on three factors: technical acceptability, price, and contractor responsibility, with the government potentially not evaluating all submitted quotes. Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit all required documentation, including a technical compliance table, pricing schedule, and representations and certifications.
