RFQ no. 70T05018Q9CPA4004 P00001
The following is the response to questions received regarding the TSA RFQ no. 70T05018Q9CPA4004 for Roller Conveyors, Peripherals and Accessories as of December 13, 2017.
1) Is the shipping price in CLIN 00040 based on the total quantity of items listed in the solicitation?
TSA Response: The current deliveries for conveyor, peripherals and accessories is FOB-Origin.
Estimated shipping cost is provided by the vendor based on destination and any required ancillary services such as (i.e. lift gate and/or pallet jack service) at time order is placed. The government pay actual cost based on carrier invoice provided by vendor at time they submit invoice (with copy of carrier invoice).
2) There are different widths for some of the conveyor components, since our cost is different based on the width, based on the quantities how do we calculate the unit/extended price on the schedule?
Do we provide a separate cost for each width?
TSA Response: The government request composite prices for CLINS with widths (24, 26, 28, 30, 34 and 36). On average, TSA actuals average between the 30/36 widths with a very moderate percentage of the smaller widths. The price schedule has been revised to reflect composite pricing for the CLINS impacted. As a reminder, award will be made using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process. Award may be made on initial quotations. Therefore, each initial quote should contain the quoter's best terms from a technical and price standpoint.
