70SBUR24Q00000293 – Vendor Questions and Clarifications
1. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project?
There is an incumbent for these services that are currently performed under contract USCIS 70SBUR19C00000006.
2. The pricing Excel sheet lists the period of performance as starting on 9/30/2024 while the RFQ lists the period of performance as starting on 9/25/2024. Will USCIS please clarify which date is correct?
The correct period of performance for the base period is 9/25/2024 to 9/24/2025. The pricing spreadsheet has been updated to correct this information.
3. In Section 6.2.7 Replacement Parts - pricing for a complete equipment replacement is requested, but there is not a line in the pricing table for individual machines. Will the pricing table be modified to accommodate this request?
The maintenance covered under SOW Section 6.2.7 shall be covered under CLINs X002.
The only complete equipment purchase will be covered under CLIN 0001. The following sentence has been removed from Section 6.2.7 of the SOW to avoid confusion: “The Contractor shall also include pricing for complete equipment replacement to remain in effect for the life of the contract.”
SOW Section 6.2.7 hereby only includes this language: “Any parts replaced by the Contractor during Remedial Maintenance visits shall be provided by the Contractors at the prices provided by the Contractor as a part of its proposal.”
4. Please confirm if a technical volume is required.
In accordance with the RFQ instructions, this will be evaluated using the lowest priced technically acceptable procedures. Therefore, quoters are encouraged to provide any documentation that supports the company’s capability of meeting the terms specified in the solicitation documents, and therefore the ability to be technically acceptable and in consideration for the award.
