Q&A: Live Streaming Support - 70RCSA19Q00000034
Questions Answers Is live production and streaming new for CISA?
No. We’ve used other tools (sli.do) and equipment previously.
If yes please explain. What services have you used in the past? And are you using a service now?
See above.
Do you have any trained broadcast Audio/Visual and streaming technicians that will be managing these services? Or do you need on-site managed services as well?
CISA’s OCIO staff have some experience. As detailed in SOW Section 3, we would like initial training on the Quoter’s specific system/equipment and access to a help line if additional question come up.
Does CISA have an Audio Visual production studio?
No. Normally, we stream town hall meetings, award ceremonies, etc. which are held in outside facilities.
In the case the live webcasts are not hosted in a production studio is CISA looking to just rent production equipment or need a staff to connect it and make it operational?
CISA staff will set up the equipment. As detailed in SOW Section 3, we would like initial training on the Quoter’s specific system/equipment and access to a help line if additional questions come up.
Are you looking for a unlimited package for streaming software or do you have a limit to the number of live webcasts that you are doing and need a pay as you go option?
As detailed in SOW Sections 2.0 and 2.1, CISA requires unlimited access and the ability to stream up to 3 sessions at the same time.
What is the number of live webcasts
Please see SOW Sections 2.0 and 2.1.
What is the number of non-live webcasts (prerecorded and posted for on-demand viewing)
What is the length of each webcast?
Webcasts may generally range in length from 30 mins to 2 hours depending on the event.
What is the average number of viewers per webcast?
Is every webcast live? Possibly not, which is why we are requiring the ability to record and store.
When is a decision being made? Award will be made prior to September 30, 2019 Since we have 36 hours to ask questions since posting this opportunity are you serious for a new provider?
Yes
In regards to the above solicitation, do you also have a need to collaborate on a document with the ability to edit, eSign, and/or eNotarize during the live stream?
