About this file

This document provides clarification on a solicitation for off-center lodging services to support student training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, Georgia. The contractor shall provide single or double occupancy hotel/motel rooms within 40 miles of the training center from January 1, 2021 through March 31, 2021. The lodging facilities and rooms must meet generally accepted housekeeping, maintenance, and security standards outlined in the scope of work. Offerors must answer two questions confirming their SAM registration status and agreement to prices and terms through the end of the period of performance. This is a special notice and does not have to be acknowledged with your quote.

This special notice provides clarifications on 52.212-3 as to what is need to be submitted with your quote.

On the form titled Hotel Services and Prices there are two (2) questions that are to be answered. They are:

1. Representation and Certifications are registered in SAM: (Yes/No) If yes, submit paragraph b of 52.212-3. If no; then submit a complete copy of reps and certs.

2. Offeror agrees prices and terms are effective for any purchase order awarded on or before March 31, 2021. Yes/No If No; then include exceptions.

Please ensure you answer both when submitting your quote.

In question 1 it states: If yes, submit paragraph b of 52.212-3. It is confusing as to what is really to be submitted from paragraph b of 52.212-3. This is what is to be submitted if you have no exceptions: “(2) The offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically in SAM accessed through http://www.sam.gov. After reviewing SAM information, the Offeror verifies by submission of this offer that the representations and certifications currently posted electronically at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, have been entered or updated in the last 12 months, are current, accurate, complete, and applicable to this solicitation (including the business size standard(s) applicable to the NAICS code(s) referenced for this solicitation), at the time this offer is submitted and are incorporated in this offer by reference (see FAR 4.1201), except for paragraphs ______N/A________.” If you have exceptions; then you would fill out paragraphs c through v and submit those paragraphs.
