About this file
This document is a request for task order proposals to provide reduced sodium meals and delivery services in support of disaster relief efforts. The Federal Emergency Management Agency seeks proposals to fulfill an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for meals for disaster survivors, including reduced sodium, short shelf-life, commercial, and daily ration meals. Offerors must submit technical and price proposals by the deadline of 1:00 PM EST on the specified date, with the technical proposal limited to two pages addressing technical specifications, vendor managed inventory plans, disposal plans, and delivery schedules for both routine and emergency response operations. Evaluation will consider technical compliance, delivery capabilities, and price, with technical compliance being the most important factor. The contractor must be able to deliver perishable meals from vendor-managed inventory locations within the continental United States to various disaster support sites on the required schedule. Award will be made to the best value offerors until the quantity requirement is fulfilled.
