Cash Transit Services RFP Summary

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada for secure cash transit services. The District seeks qualified, licensed, and bonded firms to transport cash and check deposits from approximately 390 schools and administrative offices to the District's designated Bank of America locations to support the Food Service Program and administrative operations. The service scope includes regular scheduled pickups at multiple school and office locations, with pickups occurring at two sites per school (food service kitchen and administrative office) and single pickup locations at non-school administrative offices. The RFP was posted on January 8, 2026, with a questions deadline of January 22, 2026, and proposal responses due February 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. PST. The District anticipates selecting a supplier by March 5, 2026, with purchase order issuance tentative for March 19, 2026. The initial contract term is one year, with the District reserving the right to renew for up to six additional one-year periods if performance is satisfactory. No pre-proposal conference is scheduled.

Respondents must submit proposals via the Euna Procurement platform or as hard copy submissions with both original and copy versions. Pricing must be provided on a per-stop basis for local school service stops (two pickups), local single-pickup locations, and outlying school stops, with respondents able to submit site-specific rates for individual outlying locations. All deposits must be delivered to the bank by 4:00 p.m. the same day, with the supplier achieving on-time delivery at least 95 percent of the time. The supplier is responsible for full reimbursement of any lost or stolen cash within 30 days and must maintain comprehensive insurance including workers' compensation, professional liability, and commercial automobile liability with minimum limits of $1 million per occurrence. Prices are fixed for the first two contract years; thereafter, the District may adjust rates using the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index. Evaluations will consider respondent experience, resource adequacy, technical approach, management quality, service timeliness, cost, and ability to transact through SAP Business Network. The District reserves the right to cancel the RFP, reject any proposals, and award to multiple suppliers or by individual scope elements as deemed most advantageous.
