The County seeks qualified contractors to fabricate control panels and related enclosures for wastewater pump stations throughout the county over a two-year period, with an estimated project value of $3,660,000. The scope includes fabricating control cabinets (ME), Remote Terminal Units (RTU), Wet Well Junction Boxes (JB1), Alarm Silence Stations (JB3), Generator Terminal Junction Boxes (JB4), and Main Disconnect Enclosures (MD1) in multiple electrical configurations (480/277 volt 3-phase, 240/120 volt 3-phase, and 240/120 volt single-phase) with horsepower ratings from 3 HP to 75 HP. Panels shall be fabricated in UL 508A certified shops and comply with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 and 79, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) requirements, and all applicable local codes. The production schedule requires fabrication of approximately two to four complete panels plus other enclosures weekly, with specific configurations determined at County-directed pre-construction and progress meetings held at County facilities in Brandon, Florida.

All panels must undergo factory acceptance testing and functional verification before shipment to the County's Brandon Support and Operations Center. Contractors must provide shop drawings for approval prior to fabrication, including component layouts, ladder diagrams, wiring pathways, and quality control procedures. The contract requires comprehensive quality control inspections covering nameplates, wire identification, terminal block ratings, equipment layout, wiring practices, grounding, enclosure finishes, NEMA ratings, and programming verification. Payment is authorized at 100 percent of the bid item price upon completion of fabrication, testing, documentation transmittal, as-built drawing submission, shipment, and County receipt and acceptance. All unit prices must include labor, materials, fabrication, programming, testing, as-built drawings, packaging, shipping to the County facility, and startup and commissioning assistance. Contractors must provide 24/7 emergency callout assistance for troubleshooting and issue resolution within 24-hour response times at no additional cost to the County. Weekly progress meetings are required, with contractors required to attend all County-scheduled meetings and be available for additional meetings within 48 hours of notice during normal Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM work hours.
