About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 to Bid No. 25-0094-3 issued by the Chatham County Purchasing & Contracting Department for the purchase of twelve (12) new Lifepak 1000 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The bid seeks regular semi-automatic units with QUIKCOMBO REDI-PAK electrodes designed for adult and pediatric use with pre-connect capability. The bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 PM on August 7, 2025, and is for a one-time purchase of medical equipment.

The addendum addresses several key clarifications, including confirming that distributors are allowed to bid, that the county is seeking specific Physio-Control/Stryker LIFEPAK 1000 models, and that no minority/women's business enterprise (M/WBE) participation is required for this one-time purchase. Bidders must be registered to download supporting documents, and an Occupational Tax Certificate from any city or county in Georgia is acceptable. The document emphasizes that bids are only to be accepted from professionals with brick-and-mortar operations to avoid second-hand product submissions.
