About this file
This document is a public notice from the Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intent to award a contract following a solicitation process. The notice indicates that vendor responses have been evaluated according to the stated criteria, and an intended awardee has been selected, with details available in accompanying award documentation and on the public website. Vendors are explicitly instructed not to begin work, purchase materials, or enter subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services have signed the contract or received an executed purchase order (PO).
The notice provides important procedural guidance for vendors, including that the award notification does not constitute a contract, and only an executed PO or signed contract will formalize the agreement. Vendors are informed they will be contacted via phone or email with next steps and are reminded of their right to protest the decision by submitting a written protest to the Procurement Officer within seven days of the notice, with specific requirements to clearly identify the solicitation and detail the nature of the protest. The document concludes with contact information for the Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services, located in Salt Lake City.
