2.1.3. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS. 100% of equipment shall be inspected and serviced in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. No safety deficiencies (e.g., lint buildup, faulty wiring) left uncorrected.

2.1.4. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. The Contractor shall perform scheduled maintenance at least

QUARTERLY on all machines. The Contractor shall submit a quarterly maintenance schedule within the first 30 days of each contract year. Upon arrival on base, the technician shall check in with the COR (building 1348, Dorm Management office). The COR will report any new equipment defects to the technician. The Contractor shall perform operational inspections and routine maintenance to ensure the machine and all parts are operating properly. The Contractor shall perform all maintenance during duty hours. The Contractor assumes all responsibility to keep the washers and dryers in each building operating safely.

2.2. REPAIR SERVICES. Equipment repairs shall be in accordance with commercial practices and the manufacturer’s specifications to maintain the washers and dryers in safe and reliable operating conditions. All inspections and repairs shall be accomplished during standard duty hours.

2.2.1. The COR shall notify the Contractor, by email or telephone, of all washer/dryer issues requiring repair service. The COR shall report on the building number(s), washer/dryer number(s) and any available codes.

2.2.2. The Contractor’s technician shall respond on-site to all service repair calls within three (3) duty days unless an agreed date is set within the three (3) day period. The COR will report any new equipment defects to the technician.

2.2.3. PARTS REQUIRED. The technician shall repair equipment to working conditions during the repair visit. If parts are needed to make the equipment operational, the technician shall inform the COR. Projected downtime and estimated time for parts shipment and repair must be provided to the COR prior to the technician leaving base.

2.2.4. The notification shall include the appliance identification number, location, detailed description of the failure, diagnostic findings, estimated repair cost, and justification for replacement recommendation.

2.2.5. After repairs and/or maintenance, the technician shall ensure the area is clean of debris, oil stains and parts. Machines shall be returned to operating positions. The technician will inform the COR that the repairs have been completed prior to leaving base.

If machine has parts on order, the report shall include the estimated delivery date for the parts and the projected service date to repair the machine(s).

3. SERVICE SUMMARY. The Contractor service requirements are summarized into performance objectives that relate directly to mission essential services. The stated performance thresholds are the minimum acceptable levels of service for each stated requirement. All aspects of the Contractor’s performance are subject to Government surveillance and absence of any contract requirement from the service summary table shall not detract from its enforceability nor limit the rights or remedies of the Government under contract clauses.
