Questions and Answers during Advertisement for CA ERFO FS LSPDR 2023-1(1B) Black Mountain Road

Questions Answers 1 The Site Map (Page 4 of the Drawings) shows a “water source” at the USFS Pozo fire station no. 31. What is this water source (hydrant, lake, stream, etc.)? Is there a cost associated with using this water source?

Refer to SCR section 105.02(d) for water source information.

2 Is there a scheduled site visit for this IFB? If not, can we freely access the site?

There is no site visit scheduled. The site is open and accessible to the public.

3 In regards to cleaning the culverts, can they be flushed with water? If so, does the flush water need to be captured, or can it run down existing drainage?

Refer to Section 607 of the contract for requirements related to cleaning the culverts. Methods used to clean culverts must also comply with Section 107 of the contract regarding NPDES and California Construction General Permit requirements.
