About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation for a window cleaning contract issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the Seattle District, specifically covering the Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Auburn, WA and the Seattle Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) Facility in Burien, WA. The solicitation (No. 697DCK-25-R-00397) covers exterior window cleaning services for both facilities, with a period of performance from 09/01/2025 to 08/31/2026. The preliminary government estimate is less than $100,000 for the five-year period, with services to be performed quarterly at each location (totaling eight services per contract year).
The amendment includes a set of questions and answers that provide additional details about the contract, such as clarifying that only exterior windows (2nd floor and up) are included, hose bibbs are available, some windows may have hard water stains, and roof access is available at both locations. Site visit attendees from three window cleaning companies are listed, including Crystal Clear Windows, Aqua/Cloud Quantum Innovations, and New Ben Window Cleaning LLC. Vendors will need to coordinate services with the Contracting Officer's Representative and follow specific access protocols, such as being escorted if not badged and coordinating the use of boom lifts in advance.
