About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for waterproofing and roof upgrades at the Treasure Coast Airport Air Traffic Control Tower in Fort Pierce, Florida. The federal Aviation Administration is seeking these services. The amendment extends the offer due date to December 1st, 2023 and provides an electronic bid bond form. It answers questions from potential offerors, clarifying that section 8(a) small businesses are eligible to compete, electronic bid bonds are acceptable, and lighting and access procedures for after-hours work. The selected contractor must provide a construction schedule and payment will be made under fixed-price construction terms. The amendment does not substantially alter the required products or services other than extending the response deadline.
