Award date is planned for Early September. Start date is dependent on equipment lead times. The FAA can support an NTP as soon as critical submittals are approved and equipment is on site.
2. In specification section 11 33 00 1.6 -G on the KSN Website, As well as shop drawings, product data, and product samples, will all material & equipment submittals need to be submitted through the FAA KSN Website?
Yes, all submittals to be uploaded to KSN
3. Will work besides demolition be able to be completed during normal working hours?
All work to be completed 7AM-5:30PM M-Th. Requests to work outside these hours will be addressed on a case by case basis.
4. Will the site visit sign in list be made available?
The typed list is attached to this amendment
5. Since the BAS(Building automation system) controls is a Schneider Electric system and proprietary to them, is it the FAA’s intent to solely authorize Schneider to work on the system, ow will other control contractors be allowed to connect to their system?
To be qualified, the controls contractor must be factory trained and authorized to work on the existing Schnieder Electric StruxureWare system. The new units must be fully compatible with the existing control system. None of the existing DDCS controllers and/or software will be removed. All communications between existing DDCS controllers and new control devices will be accomplished without the use of gateways, protocol converters, and/or third-party interface devices
